The Research Institute for Strategic Excellence (RISE) is a leading research center dedicated to empowering organizations across the Horn of Africa to achieve strategic Excellence. Strategic excellence refers to the capacity of individuals, teams, or entire organizations to reliably create, put into action, and carry out plans that result in long-term goal attainment and lasting competitive edge. We work with a diverse clientele, including NGOs, government institutions, and businesses across all sectors, providing them with the tools and insights necessary to navigate today's complex socio-political landscape.
RISE, headquartered in Hargeisa, Somaliland, was established in November 2024 by highly experienced researchers and educators with over a decade of experience in the NGO and higher education sectors. Our focus is on supporting clients across the Horn of Africa, guided by a belief that evidence-based approaches are crucial for fostering sustainable development and prosperity in the region. We are passionate about enabling organizations to succeed and positively impact their communities.
